Doctor Visit

Colson was having a little congestion and wheezing so we went to see Dr. Boecker. You would never know from his demeanor that he was feeling less than perfect. Also, you would not believe that he already weighs almost 14lbs!

First Day Back To Work :(

I was so lucky that I got to stay home with Colson for 11 weeks. Thank you so much Shane for being OK with me not getting a pay check for awhile and finally getting to have a real maternity leave. Also, an even bigger thanks for letting me go back part time. I know how much extra you have to work so I can be with our kids and I want you to know it doesn't go unappreciated!
We have a wonderful situation worked out with Shane's grandparents in Stockdale for the two days a week that I work. On Shane's way to work he drops Colson off with his Papa Bob and GG. They seem to love caring for him and I know that he is in good hands. Plus he gets to see a lot more of his Stockdale family. And then his daddy has to bring him home and take care of things until I get off work and so far he is doing a great job. It makes going back to work much easier. Plus I was starting to miss my job and most especially my coworkers :)

Roo and Me

A new kids clothing boutique opened in San Antonio near the Pearl Brewery. It's called Roo and Me and they have the cutest children's clothes. The owner were getting some advertising photos with Heirloom Portraits and they know what a poser Callie is so they asked us to come and take some pics. Callie did great. And I was suckered into lots of cute new clothes for her.

Fourth Of July On Lake Dunlap

We spent the fourth this year at the Krueger's lake house on Lake Dunlap. Travis keeps his boat there so the kids enjoyed swimming and boating all day.

Two Months Old

At two months, Colson loves tummy time and pretty much entertains himself. He takes 2-3 naps a day and lots of naps in his carseat. He doesn't mind being held and handled pretty roughly by Callie. Cade doesn't pay him too much attention but makes sure that everyone we see notices him. Colson rolls from his tummy to his back. He is a happy baby and he doesn't make us work for smiles.

Port O'Connor Fishing Trip

We had a quick little get away so I could enjoy our "family" boat and because it was long overdue for Shane to take me fishing. Josh and Jenna went with us and I wish we could say that we limited out but that was not the case. I caught the only keeper and he jumped right out of my hands back into the water while Jenna fumbled with the camera. Needless to say, Shane was pissed but those boogers are slippery!

Adventures In Crossfit

I'm attempting a new workout plan because this postpartum body is pretty gross and so far all that breastfeeding isn't sucking the fat out of me. Colson goes to the gym with me every day. The class lasts about an hour and he justs plays on a mat the entire time. They blare rock and rap music to get everyone pumped up and it doesn't phase him a bit. Everyone is in awe of how good he is. The teen class is after ours so they come early to play with him.
