Trick-Or-Treat

Meemaw went shopping with us and bought the kids the cutest outfits at the Disney store. Meet Captain Jack Sparrow And Cinderella.

Our neighborhood was perfect for trick-or-treating. It wasn't too crowded and we just went up and down our street. We met up with our friend Karson.Everyone came over to see the kids dressed up and help pass out candy. My girl loves candy!Callie can't get enough of her new cousin.

13 weeks

We have been searching and searching with the crappy Ultrasound machine at work trying to figure out the sex of this child. Everything is looking good so far but I am having a girl and then a boy and then a girl...Mooning the screen. I declined the maternal blood screen that tests for the probability of potential genetic disorders such as down syndrome or spina bifida. The reason that I have decided to pass on this test is because I already know that I can handle anything God gives me and I know way too many people that had difficulty enjoying their pregnancy with false positives hanging over their heads. Plus, I did this test with Cade and everything was fine.

Pumpkin Carving

Callie and I did this without Cade this year because pumpkin carving still makes him gag.It took little miss "I do it myself" a long time to carve her pumpkin.

First United Methodist Pumpkin Patch

I love pumpkin patch pictures and my kids love picking out pumpkins"I had a little accident"

Rachel's Birthday

Rachel would have been five this year. It is unbelievable that this is the second birthday that we have celebrated without her. And what made the day harder was that we couldn't be with Amy and her family either. We went to the cemetery with my parents and Michael's family to send Rach some balloons and let her know how much we miss her. I feel celebrating this day is so important because I want her cousins to know all about her and always feel like she is still a part of our family. Callie is getting older and asking more questions and the simple answers aren't working as well anymore. How do you explain cancer and death to a three year old?Cade doesn't quite grasp that this is a somber place and that we were all kind of sad. He always cheers us up in his own little Cade way. He just can't resist a good time.
