Trick-Or-Treat

We trick-or-treated in Amy's neighborhood this year with Em and Ashton.

Callie is not scared of any of the Halloween decorations. She never even hesitated to walk up to house with billowing smoke, graveyard in the front, skeletons hanging, screams from a recording- She was after one thing only... Candy.
At one house she got so excited instead of saying trick-or-treat she said "gimme some candy!"
Cade was shocked to see Grandpa at the other side of this door.

And of course, the sampling.

Halloween At TyTys

Tyler had a Halloween party the Saturday night before Halloween. Amy and I took the kids to see him (early of course) so they could see him in his costume. This year Cade was a sailor and Callie was a flapper. Em was a flapper too but this night we didn't have her costume with us.He was the handsomest sailor ever. He even won 3rd place in the Wilson County costume contest.
Callie insisted on doing her own makeup... didn't she do a great job?
Callie is now convinced that Colton (CC) is a doctor.
Tyler must have a lot of confidence because he and his roommates were the fruit of the loom fruit. Yes he's in college and he was grapes for Halloween. And he thought his costume was really cool.
Em likes grapes but not these creepy grapes.

Pumpkin Patch!

I love taking pictures of the kids in the pumpkin patch. However, they don't cooperate very well but here is what I got. Oh and Bryson, Robyn and Trav were in town to celebrate Robyn's parents birthdays so they got to come with us. I think Robyn got a picture of all 4 of them but I was unsuccessful.

Isn't he the cutest??
Em didn't sit long!
Cade liked moving around the pumpkins.

Uncle Travis was glad to be home.
Callie loves doting on Bryson.

Rachel's Birthday

October 9th will probably always be a rough day for us. As her birthday got closer, I noticed how much more I was missing her and dreading that Saturday. But we planned a full day. We knew we needed to be busy. We decided to do some of Rachel's favorite things much like we would have done if she was here to celebrate with us. It was an awesome day with minimal tears and many happy memories of Rachel. I still remember Amy calling the day she was born and seeing the first pictures of her. I had never seen a baby with such long hands and feet! I miss my beautiful niece so much and I love looking at pictures of her. This is one of my favorite pics from last year as she proudly displayed that she was now 3.
We started the day at the cemetery and sent balloons to heaven so Rachel would get presents from us.

The girls were pretty excited. We knew they would have no trouble letting go of the balloons because that is what they always do.

And I don't think it's a coincidence that there was a little pink spot in this picture...

Callie Likes Cupcakes Too

When you give a Callie a cupcake, she will ask for a glass of milk...
Not sure what happened with the hair but do you people see what I deal with?! We just let some things go sometimes... like pants and hair brushes. And look at Cade, he just laughs at her and takes her milk and spills it. Oh I love them.

Bracken Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Grandpa would do just about anything for this boy. I had to work again so he got to go another field trip. And he took pictures!

Looks like Cade was trying to bail out of his hay ride...
