Cade's Birthday Dinner

It's hard to believe our first baby is SIX. He has made tremendous progress in the last year. We are so proud of you Cade and love you very much!
Happy Birthday sweet boy!

I made Uncle Ty Ty carry the sleeping kiddos into Cracker Barrell.

B is wondering how many times we are going to celebrate Cade and Callie

At least Cade is not the only one missing front teeth!

And It's A....

BOY!

Poor Callie was dissapointed that she wasn't getting a sister. She argued with me a little bit but is finally accepting that she will have two brothers. I'm not worried, she will fall into her big momma role beautifully. Now for a name...

Buffalo Bills Game

Shane's good friend Eric is from Buffalo, NY and so last year Shane decided he was going to root for the Buffalos with Eric. He's weird like that. So this year, when they were actually winning, he got it in his head that we had to go there for a game. Shane had been looking forward to this game for a long time and we ended up having no trouble returning from Canada. But the poor guy got the stomach flu the day of the game. He was so dissapointed that he couldn't tailgate but it was great for me because I couldn't drink either :) The game was cold but not near as cold as it could have been in Buffalo in December.

Ollie decided to cheer for the Titans. Shane and Richard pretended not to know her.

We had pretty good seats.

Richard lost some money on this one...

Niagra Falls, Canada

For Shane's birthday, we decided to take a long weekend trip with Richard and Ollie to Buffalo, New York and Niagra Falls. The Canadian side was much more beautiful than the American side. We were lucky to get through customs because the boys didn't have passports. We found out once on the other side that the easy part was getting to Canada but that we would have trouble getting back to America. The guys were instantly worried because we had football tickets the next day and that was the whole reason we were there. They were practically crying at the idea of missing that game. And of course Shane's anxiety level went through the roof. Ollie and I were very entertained and we loved Canada.

They love each other

The view from our hotel
Our hotel was much better when Ollie was in charge of booking it. Note to self- Shane does not plan the trips!

Cade's Dental Work

On Cade's cranial facial team in Austin, there is a pedi dentist, orthodontist and oral surgeon. Cade is not very cooperative with x-rays but we did know his 6 year molars were coming in deformed and with an enamel defect. He has already lost his bottom two center teeth and I'm pretty sure he swallowed one of them. So we scheduled dental surgery with the team at Dell Children's so they could get a good look at everything and pull what needs pulling.
He is very cooperative with his vital signs and lifts his shirt when they are coming at him with a stethoscope. He loved this hat that they gave him.

They found out that Cade is missing four permanent adult molars. Also his lower two 6 year molars were in pretty bad shape. She had to cut one of them out and on the other she fixed a cavity in the hopes to save it. So he is already missing 5 permanent adult teeth.

My Poor Baby

But the worst part is, they took out his two front teeth! White fang is gone! His new smile is going to take some getting used to.

And Callie is Four!

Happy fourth Birthday baby girl! You bring so much laughter and joy to my life. I don't know what I ever did without you. We love you sweet girl and wish you many, many more happy birthdays!
