I declined the maternal blood screen that tests for the probability of potential genetic disorders such as down syndrome or spina bifida. The reason that I have decided to pass on this test is because I already know that I can handle anything God gives me and I know way too many people that had difficulty enjoying their pregnancy with false positives hanging over their heads. Plus, I did this test with Cade and everything was fine.
