Cade's New Hardware

Cade got his hearing aid a few weeks ago. We were nervous about it as we have seen what he can do to a feeding tube. But he has done great! We are gradually introducing it so he mainly just uses it at school and when we are reading his homework at home. We take it out for meals, car rides, and run around crazy times. In the classroom at school, he is hooked up to an FM system and his teacher is broadcast right into his ear. He is doing fabulous with his signing and signs that he is thirsty constantly. I was worried at first that he has spent his life dehydrated but I think he likes to get some kind of reaction out of us. We are so excited that he is communicating!
