Payton brought over his truck the other day to give rides to Cade and Callie. They were so cute and they drove it til the battery died.Cade chaperoned their little date

The New Ride

The kids love rides on Grandpa's mower and they beg for them constantly...Everyone knows where their spot is...

Everytime we go outside, Cade goes right to the mower. He could sit there for hours.

Behind The Scenes At Sea World

Cade's class took another field trip and this time I got to go with them! We went to Sea World on a day it was closed. We had a guide that led us through the park and we got to see the animals up close which is very important for Cade. Here he is on his bus...The sea lion show was the best because we were right in the front and there were only about 20 of us. They all got to ask questions and see all of the sea lion's tricks. Cade was laughing the whole time. The employees were so sweet to Cade's little class. They even let the kids touch the sea lion!



Now the down side to this little trip was that it was a ton of walking. I would never dream of taking Cade to sea world without a stroller but I guess I thought they would provide something because this was a special needs class of 4 year olds. But no. My poor baby with his low tone has NO stamina and by the time we were half done, he was refusing to walk. His little legs were exhausted and he kept laying down on the pavement. I had to carry all 45 lbs of him the rest of the way and then I was exhausted!
He thought the penguins stunk.
The aquariums are cool to see when they aren't so crowded with people.

Happy Mother's Day

My mom's idea of a holiday is a mass with the family followed up with some good food- so that's what we did.With the kids that were here...
Tyler plays the role of the baby so well. He could not be a more typical baby in all that "birth order" psychology. He didn't go in on mom's present with us. He thought a shout-out on the PA at the public pool where he is a manager is a way better gift than a massage.

My babies! Of course they are laughing at Tyler and Callie is showing off the newest little stinker thing he taught her. They were so dirty by this point in the night. These clothes had made it through a whole day of playing plus two meals.

I love him so much. Everyone should have a Cade in their life. Thank you for changing my life Cade! And thank you Callie for making it even better! Being a mother is my most important, most enjoyable and most rewarding job. I love ya'll more than anything.

We Love To Give Gifts!

Callie took about 30 min. signing each cardThey marched right over to give grandma her gift. And Callie had to bring her camera- Like mother like daughter.

Happy Cinco De Mayo!!!

Cade and Callie had their traditional Mexican attire on to celebrate Mexican Independence Day. Aunt Robyn bought them these outfits at El Mercado in San Antonio and everyone thought they looked adorable (and festive!). I tried and tried to get Callie to smile for the camera. Now all she will do when I pull out the camera is A. Look away, pretending not to notice me or B. throw a fit with a mean face. She is every bit of two. Isn't she a doll? Do you think she is telling me she has had more pictures taken of her in her 2 years of life than most people do their entire lives?My handsome man has a gross new habit of touching his tongue all the time. Anyone have any ideas on how to stop this one I would love to know.
