The parade is a big deal in New Braunfels and it is really long (about 3 hours). We had a nice sunny spot that felt like it was 150 degrees so we only stayed an hour. The kids really loved all the sirens and the bands and the music that came by.

A Night At The Fair

We went with Amy, Marissa, Austin, Sarah, and Grandpa to the fair so the big kids could ride some rides. I had rained earlier so Callie's hair was a fro. We plan on going again with Rachel on Friday after the parade so we can see the animals and ride more rides.

Cade is my little risk taker who isn't scared of anything. He jumped right on the "bigger kid" roller coaster and squealed the whole time.

Taylor and her dog Calli stayed with us Sunday cause Taylor couldn't go home yet due to the hurricane. Cade and Callie loved the dog Calli and chased her all over. I think they drove her nuts! Taylor snapped this pic with her phone.

Tyler and Sarah wanted to enjoy the nice weather too so they went with us. The stupid ducks at the park are overfed and were snobby to us. What a disappointment!

Callie got to put her feet in only when Cade wasn't looking... He was darting for the water most of the time anyway.

Starting The School Process...

Because Cade has special needs, he will get to start public school when he turns 3. We had our first meeting today with one of his coordinators. He will get all of his therapies at school, get used to functioning in a structured environment, and play with kids his age (some with disabilities, some not). We are so excited about this program and we hope he will make tremendous progress. He will go half days until he is old enough for Kindergarten. We didn't do any formal testing today just signed some paperwork and talk about the program. He will go to Goodwin-Frazier Elementary school. He can also ride the bus but his mama is hesitant about that short bus so he will be dropped off. Here he is starting his educational career...
