Moo Moo Pop

This is Callie's absolute favorite book.We read it every night. In fact we read it so much I have it memorized. And Callie knows I have it memorized so she asks for it all day. I tell it to her in the car, while we make dinner, while she sits on the potty... literally all the time. She is starting to memorize it too. Cade listens intently so I know it is his favorite too.

Fillin in For Grandpa

The kids sat on the mower all day begging for a ride. Grandpa is in Iowa but I told them Ty Ty would give them a ride after work. And don't you know that was the first thing Callie told Tyler he needed to do.Don't let him fool you, he loved it.

Who needs babynastics? Sarah can teach Callie anything she needs to know. Oh and she's Dr. McCutchen now, that's going to take some getting used to! Congrats Sarah!

Ty-Ty's Pool

We lucked out today at the city pool. The threat of rain was enough to keep everyone away this holiday weekend but it didn't rain! We had the whole kiddie pool to ourselves!
My kids get pushy on the slide so it was good they were only pushing each other!

I love the Landa Park spring fed pool- We spent a lot of time here growing up and I worked here in high school. And Tyler is the manager so we get in free...
I took the kids to explore the springs today. It is still being put back together after the flood. We saw where it starts...
and where it ends. Callie liked it and thought it was "really told (cold)!"

Happy Father's Day

Stockdale Coronation

Callie was in the Stockdale coronation with her friend Bri.
I didn't realize how long they had to sit on the stage. Callie was quite entertaining while she lasted.

Bri needed to go potty and ran off stage so of course Callie yelled that she needed to go potty as well even though she had shown the entire audience that she was wearing a diaper.

Procedure #15, 16, and 17

Cade got his tonsils, part of his adenoids, and ear tubes put in without any complications. His surgery went very well. Dr. Moe, his ENT, (whom I think is brilliant with the best bedside manner) sat down with us after the surgery. He said "this is what normal tonsils look like, this is what Cade's look like. This is what normal bones in the ear look like, this is what Cade's look like," etc. etc. He also had a hearing screen which revealed mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears that will require hearing aids. I was almost glad to hear this because it can explain some of his speech delay. He should get fitted for hearing aids this summer and hopefully everything will be in place when he goes back to school. I have already met the district's hearing loss specialist and she is fabulous and will be tons of help with Cade. We plan to meet with her weekly until school starts. Cade bounced back from his surgery quickly, as Cade always does. He gives new meaning to the word TOUGH. He did a little bit of this...and a lot of this...

He had no trouble picking up with eating the very next day. He was running laps around the nurses station ready to bust out of there. And I let him because in my opinion, we should have been out hours earlier, just sayin.
And Yes Rocky is on his shirt because he is way tougher than Rocky.

The Krugs Don't Make No Skinny Kids!

We love having Bryson added to the bunch. Cade appreciates him amidst all the drama these girls seem to already create.

Loving On Abby and Natalie

We don't get to see our Iowa cousins often so the kids soaked up all the fun they could with Abby and Natalie. This was the morning before Cade's surgery and on this same day we had another pretty significant flood in good ole' NB. Of course it was the day the girls had mapped out every ride they would ride at Schlitterbahn!
They could be siblings. Love ya girls!

Crawfish Boil for 30 years!

My parent's have been married 30 years this May and so us kids decided to throw them a small little crawfish boil. Of course we called up Huck the crawfish master to make our delicious meal. He gave Cade a live crawfish to hold (after ripping off the pinchers) and he was tickled! He ran and got so excited he ripped off that poor crawfishs arm and then dropped him and accidentally stepped on him. After Cade got done with him...
Robyn made these adorable shirts for the kids. I regret that we don't have a pic of them all together in their shirts. Each kid had a different pic from my parent's wedding day on their shirt.
My aunt Jenny (mom's youngest sis) and her family were vacationing here from Iowa during this time so it worked out perfectly for them to be at the party. Abby is missing in this pic...
