"Choo-Choo Ride"
All day long, Callie repeatedly says "mommy, Choo Choo Ride." We are getting passes next year and I promise I won't take pics everytime we go. But here are some pics with the cousins!

I found this poem on one of Cade's special friends blog's. I cried, it is so true...
A meeting was held quite far from Earth
"It's time again for another Birth"
Said the Angels to the Lord above
This special child will need much love
His progress may seem very slow
Accomplishments he may not show
And he'll require extra care
From folks he meets, way down there
He may not run, laugh, or play
His thoughts may seem quite far away
In many ways he won't adapt
And he'll be known as handicapped
So let's be careful where he's sent
We want his life to be content;
Please Lord find the Parents who
Will do a special job for you
They will not realize right away
The leading role they're asked to play
So with this child sent from above
Comes stronger faith and richer love
And soon they'll know the privilege given
In caring for this gift from Heaven
This special child so meek and mild
Is "Heaven's Very Special Child".

Happy Birthday Cade!!!
My baby is growing up so fast! I cannot believe you are already four! Cade you are an inspiration to everyone who meets you. I know it is unnecessary for me to remind people what all you have been through but...
to fully appreciate your sweet nature, it is necessary to understand. There is nothing like a sick and helpless child to create such an unbelievable bond...
and your bright smile continues to shine through it all! You truly are my little morning sunshine (emphasis on morning!) Everything you have been through I would have taken upon myself anyday to spare you, my sweet, innocent little baby. But Cade, you are amazing.
And that smile! Though you may never vocalize your love for me and your family, I know it is there! You are the sweetest boy in the world... have I said that before???
Being your mother does certainly have it's challenges but I am honored that God trusted me with your care. You have taught me more about patience and selflessness than anything I have ever experienced. And believe me Cade, I wouldn't trade you for anything. I love you my little monster and I hope the next year shows progress and growth for you with fewer visits to the ER!

Happy Birthday Callie Rae!
Dear Callie Girl,
Today is your birthday! You have been telling people for months that you are two and now you truly are! It's hard to believe that two years ago we heard your first cry and saw your pretty face. We knew all too well what a little miracle you were to be born healthy and strong. You are such a blessing to us. You are so many things in such a pint size package. I will never know how God packed so much personality into you. Although sometimes your strong will can frustrate me and make me fear your teenage years, I can't help but smile when I think of you.
You are so curious and smart, loving and sweet.
I can stare at you all day and marvel about how pretty you are with your big bouncing curls, your short stubby legs and pigeon toes, and your big smile! What amazes me most is what a good sister you are to your brother. You are such a loving and patient teacher to him and I hope you will always love and have patience for your brother. You are a special little girl that God gave to your daddy and me and Cade for a reason. I look forward to you keeping me on my toes for the next twenty years and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you little teapot and I am so proud of the little girl that you are.
Happy Birthday Sweetie!
Love, Mommy
