Relay For Life

Team Rachel raised over $7,000 for cancer research and Comal County raised about $58,000. Thanks to everyone for your support of this wonderful cause. The event was actually lots of fun and we were disappointed because it ended at about 9:00PM due to weather. It is supposed to last from 7pm- 7am because cancer never sleeps. I had the 12-2am shift so I wasn't too sad it ended a little early. There is always next year!
The Survivor Lap- The first lap is only for survivors of cancer or for people fighting cancer and for their caregivers. We were pretty sure Rachel was the youngest one. Charlin also got to walk with Amy and Rachel because she had thyroid cancer about 27 years ago.

Cade and Callie took the survivor lap too in support of their cousin and grandma. However, they did fall asleep.

Cade loved all the space to walk around.

Here is when they announced we had 30 min. to get off the field cause a storm was coming. Some people were more stressed than others.

Miss You Daddy

Food Snatcher

Amy was trying to feed Rachel a hot dog. Cade was next to her and kept pulling her stroller to him and stealing her food. We had to laugh and of course Rachel didn't mind. She even started breaking up the chips and handing it to him.
