It's official, I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant. It has taken some adjusting for all of us but it will all work out. I am due Dec. 3. From the sonogram I had, we couldn't tell much about the baby yet but #2 is in the right place and everything looks OK so far. I will probably have another one at 20 weeks.
Cade is very swollen (it has actually gone down in these pics) but today has acted as if he felt fine. He has been playing and laughing and pulling his bandages off like he doesn't need them. He is an amazing kid.
Here is Cade playing before his last jaw surgery on Friday. They removed the pins and plates that were holding his jaw steady so the bones could harden. It took longer than they thought and they ended up having to make more incisions because the right one was very hard to remove. Cade looked pretty rough when he came out. He slept for about 15 hours straight but when he woke up he was his old self again. He is doing really well and is incredibly tough.
Thanks to Cade's Grandmas that came to sit through his surgery!
Cade doesn't like to share anything with Rachel; Not toys, not grandpa, not the spotlight, etc. We are going to have to work on that for when she moves in...
