Please, Please Read To Me

Cade is forever bringing us books. The only thing he will sit through is a book. He wakes me up at 5 AM with a book in his hand, he cries if we try to go to bed without reading a book. I know it is a great thing that he loves books and we read them as often as possible but if Cade had his way, we would read books all day! He still rips out pages though, we are working on that.

Yard Work

We are loving this warm weather! It is so nice to just be outside until bedtime instead of messing up the house! It isn't quite warm enough for the average person to run through the sprinklers but Cade is no average person... Callie loves to "help"

And So does Rissa, here she is enjoying cleaning my car...

When Cade does this, it upsets Callie "Oh Tade, (big sigh), mess, all wet (big sigh)." Not only did he get soaking wet in the sprinklers and helping clean the car, he dumped over Tyler's bucket of stain for the house after soaking his hands in it. He has to have constant supervision or we have a huge mess to clean up! Plus he still eats dirt...

My Dad The Inventor

We are trying to get Cade to pedal. So far no luck. I think once he realizes how to do it, he will love it. Rog didn't actually invent this idea... This was something the therapists did with Rachel at her therapy. Dad just used Duct tape, they probably didn't do that!I remember when he was three months old, Cade's therapist said he needed to bring his hands to midline. So Grandpa taped them there too...
Callie was jealous that Cade got tape so she got some too.
