This Kid Can Sleep Anywhere!

Cade is so funny. When he gets tired, he just passes out, no matter where he is or what he is doing. None of these pictures are staged. Here he is in his office hard at work (he is always carrying the phone or remote around)...
These pics below are from today. He stayed home from school because he has been running a fever and has a cold. He runs out of gas easily because he doesn't have much reserve for the times that he is sick. Callie is sick as well so we have been having lots of fun lately. We have been wrestling both of them for breathing treatments. Callie is the worst medicine taker ever and I have wished more than once this week that she had a feeding tube too and I could just shoot it in her tummy! She is such an Akin when she is sick. So dramatic (and gross)! (Banks I don't care if this makes you mad, it's true!)

Tyler is 20 today!!!Thanks to Tyler and Sarah for keeping Cade this week and getting him on the bus every morning. Also thanks to Amy and Michael for putting up with Callie all week as well. Ya'll are the best.

They have had a really cold winter up there. They were all going on about how nice it was at 20 degrees. Thankfully we weren't there last week when it was 20 below zero!

My Grandma Bernadine passed away this last week at the age of 93. She was an amazing woman and she was a great example to us all. These are some pics from this summer with some of her great great grand kids. (they didn't really cooperate)

Day At The Zoo

We had some really warm weather last weekend so we took advantage and dragged all the kids to the zoo. They had a much better time than I expected and got really in to it.
Callie pointed at every animal she saw, I guess she thought we could not see it.
